Mission

To promote & foster the development of physical education & sports programs at WCS. The WCS Adult Sports Boosters are in existence to promote the athlete’s involved in any sport at Waterville Central School. Our goal is to better the athletic program in any way that we can.

Request for Funding

Volunteer

Running the concession stand requires many hours of work. This is easily taken care of when parents of athletes participate. Many hands make light work! Parents/Guardians of student-athletes are required to volunteer at one home game during the season that their student-athlete is participating.

History

Over the years the Waterville Adult  Sports Boosters have purchased :

• (2) EZ Up Tents with sides and weights in 2019 (10X20 & 10X10)
• (1) EZ up Tent 10×20 in 2023
• Brand new 10×20 EZ up replacement top (donated by the company 2023     still unused)
• Varsity Basketball warm ups
• Deposit for Varsity Football 8 man camp
• Basketball shooting machine
• Championship & Scholar Athlete banners updates in both the HS & MPS gyms
• Senior gifts for the Fall, Winter & Spring Senior nights
• New Track & Field  board and letters in HS hallway 2019
• End of the year team dinner reimbursement up to $100.00 for all Modified, JV and Varsity teams (amount can very depending on SB funding/budget during that school year).
• Section, national & federation team or individual snack and drink gift baskets provided for the trip.
• Individual gift cards provided for sectional , nationals or federation winners (sneaker store or Dicks Sporting goods)
• CX, Track & Field Boys & Girls soccer , Softball & Baseball warmups 2018.
• Softball & Baseball score boards
• Tennis warmups
• Replacement of all the old felt banners to vinyl in both the HS & MPS gym.
• Student Section banner in HS Gym. 2023
• Volleyball warmups
• Food & Drink purchase for the Athletic Scholar Breakfast
• Funding to provide 4 senior student-athletes with $200.00 scholarships at the athletic breakfast (can very depending on SB  funding/budget that school year).
• In 2024 we decided to provide five students with the scholarship we had the funding and didn’t want to leave a student out
• Varsity Football helmet decals 2023
• 2021 skills and drills
• Provided funding for Mr. Stockwell’s gym floor dedication (his painted signature on gym floor)
