About Us

Welcome to the Waterville Central School District, where we are Imagining, Designing, & Creating Best Futures. We serve a rural community approximately 15 minutes south of Utica, New York and our school district consists of approximately 800 students in grades K-12.

At Waterville CSD, a strong academic program is enhanced by technology integration, a special education inclusion program, distance learning and opportunities to participate in BOCES Career and Technical Education and enrichment programs. The Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES offers support for instructional programs and other support activities such as staff development, communications services and business office functions.

Our combined 52-acre campus contains outstanding indoor and outdoor athletic facilities, including an artificial turf field, which hosts a variety of league, Section III and statewide competitions.

Major renovations and additions were completed in 1984, 1995, 2003, 2007 and 2014. In 2003, a fitness center for school and community use was added. The 2007 expansion renovated the music wing, the technology rooms and the family and consumer science room, and added state-of-the-art science labs.
