MPS Clubs & Activities

At Memorial Park Elementary School we have four active extracurricular clubs!

MPS Marching Band

MPS marching band is 92 members strong. In 2023-24, the band took on the challenge of learning a High School-level song. The band performs in multiple Memorial Day parades and competes at the Dolgeville Festival of Violets Parade.

MPS Milers

The MPS Milers is a group of  students who stay after school once a week and can either walk or run on school grounds with adult volunteers. The adults will be leading each group while other volunteers are placed at checkpoints throughout the assigned path to make sure all students are following rules and keeping up with their groups.

MPS Pep Band

MPS Pep Band grew to 35 members in 2023-24! The group performed for the P2 assemblies at MPS, all boys varsity home games, girls varsity senior night game and sectional final games at OCC.

Student Council

The MPS Student Council is made up of 5th and 6th grade students who meet regularly to plan and organize school activities. The MPS Student Council promotes leadership, cooperation, and school spirit. You are the voice for all students at MPS
