Since joining the Waterville Central School District in August, Kathy Zangrilli has quickly earned the trust and respect from the Memorial Park School community as its new principal. With over 18 years of experience in education, Zangrilli brings both energy and a strong commitment to student success. She previously served as an assistant middle school principal and also taught first and 4th grades, all in the Oneida City School District.
“I am excited to be part of the Waterville Central School District,” said Zangrilli. “I’m committed to creating an environment where everyone feels valued and supported. Together, we are building a stronger school that will provide all of our students with the tools they need to succeed.”
In her first three months, Mrs. Zangrilli has been actively connecting with students and staff through classroom visits, and meetings with staff to collaboratively address the school’s priorities. In addition to building relationships, Zangrilli is promoting academic growth by supporting the implementation of a new reading and math series.
“Mrs. Zangrilli has brought enthusiasm, expertise, and a deep commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all students and staff. Her leadership and enthusiasm are evident, and we are confident Memorial Park School will continue to thrive under her guidance,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jennifer Spring said.
